A year ago this week, we lost our beloved Oliver to cancer. While we are very grateful that he died painlessly in our arms, it is by far the most painful experience we have ever dealt with. In his honor, we will often visit the beach where we scattered his ashes. He loved to swim and play at that beach. Oliver was much more than a dog. He was our best friend and a devoted companion.
