Eva is amazing. She is already teaching us how to deal with last minute changes and be patient. Her facial expressions and chubby cheeks make everything seem ok. We learned how to work as a family during the last four days in the hospital. We are now home and doing wonderful.
We feel blessed to have such great family and friends sending us well wishes. We are on baby time so the responses won't flow as quickly as they did before. However, keep checking this blog for more updates on Baby Eva and lots of photos!

I know all about "baby time" and that is why I thought I should post a response on the blog as opposed to e-mailing Rachel. Looking at her picture reminded me of our first child (which was 3 kids ago) and I remember the anticipation of the arrival and the excitment before hand but words can't describe the emotions that rush through the moment you hold that child. Feeling how fragile they are and thinking - wow we are responsible for this life. Then they kick you out of the hospital and they don't even give you an owner's manual.
Good luck Mommy and Daddy - oh and new daddy - don't forget you have 2 moms to spoil this weekend! Enjoy!

She is beautiful! I'm so happy for you. Aiden and Eva will have to celebrate their birthday's together. I still can't believe we were in LDR rooms next door!
Take care and let me know when you are ready to get out of the house with Eva. We could do that Mommy Spa thing at Premium Birth Services or Infant Massage.

She is beautiful! Congrats to you both! We both have May babies. Mina turns a year old on the 31st. Enjoy this gorgeous little bundle of love....they grow up before you know it.
